Role Description

The position is available at the Mannus Correctional Centre in Southern NSW facilitating Foundation Skills for inmates.

This is a casual remote role for a Trainer and Assessor. The Trainer and Assessor will be responsible for conducting training sessions and assessing the performance and competency of learners. The day-to-day tasks will include delivering training, evaluating learner progress, providing feedback, and maintaining accurate records. A record of recent Professional Development, currency activities, security checks and referees will be required.

Qualifications

• TAE40116 or TAE40122 training and assessing qualification
• Knowledge of various learning methodologies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work remotely and independently
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Experience in the learning and development industry
• Certification in Foundations Skills or Elective units from the TAE training package
• Preferred units (or enrolled) below;

TAELLN421 Integrate core skills support into training and assessment

TAELLN422 Use foundation skills resources, strategies and advice

TAELLN423 Integrate employability skills support into training and assessment
