RTO Administration Coordinator

We’re currently looking for a full time Administration Coordinator to join our vibrant and dynamic WA team, on a 12-month parental leave fixed term contract, with the possibility of contract extension.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be supporting the admin team with critical reporting, coordinating and prioritising work for admin personnel, updating business processes and procedures as continuous improvement, and supporting with miscellaneous admin duties. While your attention to detail and strong work ethic will be key in diligently and accurately completing clerical duties like data entry and enrolment paperwork, it’s your patience, maturity and considerate nature that will allow you to excel in this role.
Must-haves
- Experience in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector, in an admin capacity
- Knowledge of WA state funding and traineeship arrangements, especially the monthly lodgement and variation
- Experience with accurately invoicing the client, calculating course fees and refunds
- Capacity to multi-task by efficiently and effectively prioritising multiple inboxes
- Strong data entry skills, with a high attention to detail to capture and report accurate records
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills for this customer facing role
- High-level of computer literacy, and advanced MS suite skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to take initiative, with strong organisational skills
- Provide working with children’s check and national police clearance prior to commencing employment
Bonus points
- Previous experience with a student management system, preferably VETtrak and VTdocs
- Knowledge of SA and NT funding arrangements
- Knowledge of ASQA standards
- Valid driver’s licence and own car
