The Role –
We offer introductory and continuing education in Business, Hospitality, Construction, Carpentry, Horticulture, Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability and Training & Assessment.
We’re looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about Vocational Education and wants to play an instrumental role in delivering quality training & assessment services to our students.
This role offers you the flexibility you’re looking for with the potential for Part-Time or Full-Time hours. It’s an opportunity to make a positive difference in the community whilst establishing a long-term career with ongoing professional development.
We are looking for trainers to deliver any of the below qualifications in the Northern Rivers region:
Construction | Carpentry
- CPC20220 Certificate II in Construction
- CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry
We’re able to train multiple qualifications outside of the above, and always eager to hear from Trainers suited to other subjects we have on scope!
Duties Include:
- On-Site Assessment – Conduct regularly scheduled on-site visits to provide face-to-face assessment and training support and safeguard a positive learning and working environment.
- Training Delivery – Training & Assessing of students in various delivery methods, such as online, classroom or out on site with a trainee.
- Caseload Management – Manage a caseload of trainees and funded students, tailoring training to suit learner needs to achieve progression and completion targets.
- Maintaining quality – Ensure all compliance obligations are always met, and delivery and assessment standard remain high.
- Mentoring – provide guidance, support, and mentorship to students from different backgrounds throughout their vocational journey.
- Administration – Completion of documentation in line with training delivery and assessment, management of Training Contracts, and student progression.
About You –
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidentiality and integrity – able to adhere to professional standards
- Good teamwork and a willingness to collaborate with others to develop plans to achieve goals
- Organised with the confidence to manage your own day efficiently
- Flexibility to adapt and work with differing circumstances and environments
Essential –
- TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
– or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment with the TAE upgraded units TAELLN411 Address Adult Language, Literacy And Numeracy Skills and TAEASS502 Design And Develop Assessment Tools or equivalent - Recent Industry Currency relevant to the industry you’ll be teaching in
- Willingness to travel to student workplaces when necessary
