We are seeking an experienced SEE Trainer to join a community-driven initiative in the Tiwi Islands, Australia. Reporting to the RTO Manager, you will deliver high-quality SEE Training in compliance with RTO standards, the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF), and the Digital Literacy Skills Framework. You will engage with students, provide tailored support, manage training-related administrative tasks, and contribute to a positive learning environment. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of experience in SEE Training, strong knowledge of RTO standards, and a passion for working in an immersive community setting.

Are you an experienced SEE Trainer ready to make a real impact? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join a community-driven project in the Tiwi Islands. This unique opportunity allows you to work closely with the local community, delivering the SEE Training program while living and working on the island. All expenses, except for food, will be covered, and you will have a self-contained unit for your accommodation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Report directly to the RTO Manager, playing a key role in the development of the community through the SEE Training program.
  • Deliver high-quality training and assessment in accordance with RTO standards, ensuring compliance with Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) and Digital Literacy Skills Framework.
  • Engage with students and support their development throughout the program, providing tailored guidance and support to ensure success.
  • Collaborate with the team to create a positive learning environment and contribute to continuous improvements in training delivery.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to training and assessments, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 1 year of experience delivering the SEE Training program in an RTO setting.
  • Familiarity with the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) and Digital Literacy Skills Framework.
  • A deep understanding of the RTO Standards and how to apply them to training delivery.
  • Passion for working in a unique and immersive community environment, building relationships and contributing to positive outcomes for local students.
  • A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high level of professionalism.
  • Willingness to live and work on the Tiwi Islands, fully immersing in the community and culture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or its successor).
  • Experience working in an RTO environment, delivering accredited training and assessment.
  • Sound knowledge of the SEE Training program and relevant industry frameworks.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
