SITS College (RTO 91533), is seeking qualified and experienced Trainers and Assessors to deliver CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry and CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) to international students at its Salisbury QLD campus. The role involves delivering engaging training, conducting face-to-face classes and practical sessions, assessing student competency, maintaining compliance with ASQA standards, and providing academic support. Applicants must hold relevant vocational qualifications, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent), have at least two years of recent industry experience, and demonstrate strong industry knowledge, communication skills, and compliance capability. With over 16 years of commitment to excellence in training and assessment, we are expanding our team and looking for qualified and experienced Trainers and Assessors for the following qualifications:
- CPC30220 – Certificate III in Carpentry
- CPC50220 – Diploma of Building and Construction (Building)
Student Cohort: International students
Location - Salisbury QLD 4107
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective training in line with the relevant training packages.
- Conduct face-to-face classes and practical training sessions at the campus or designated training sites.
- Assess student competency as per industry standards and RTO compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records including attendance, course progress, and assessment documentation.
- Ensure training delivery is current, relevant, and compliant with ASQA standards.
- Provide academic support and mentorship to students throughout their training journey.
- Participate in validation and moderation activities as required.
Essential Requirements:
- Hold relevant vocational qualifications:
- CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry
- CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years recent industry experience relevant to the qualifications being delivered
- Sound knowledge of the construction industry practices and regulatory requirements
- Ability to plan and deliver both theoretical and practical components of the courses
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain compliance with RTO and ASQA standards
